Q3. Please clarify if Spot Dumping of aggregate is sufficient to meet contract scope of work or Stockpiling of aggregate is required.

A3. On NFSR 900.1 ONLY, Contractor will coordinate with Forest Service personnel on site to windrow aggregate on the road while FS personnel spread it on road. At NFSR 250.1, Contractor shall stockpile aggregate; spot dumping will not be accepted.

Q5. Please verify which of the Specification tables provided in solicitation pgs. 64-66, are correspondent to CO Class 6 aggregate as requested in this solicitation.

A5. ’CO Class 6’ was written on page 1 of the solicitation in error; it will be corrected in the amendment.

Grading U as specified on pages 5 and 65 will be the standard for this contract. Some, but not all aggregate that meets CO Class 6 specs also meets Grading U specs. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to ensure aggregate meets Grading U; the government may verify test results (see FP-14 section 106 and FSSS to Section 106 on pages 53-55 of the contract).

Q6. Please see below table and attached document from CDPT specifying Class 6 aggregate; please confirm if below table complies with solicitation requirement.

A6. Please see answer to Number 5 above.
