Questions from Industry 12805B25Q0021 As of November 18, 2024

1. Company X will be sub-contracting on this bid. Does their business information need to be filled out on the Quoter Information Form, even though they are not registered in SAM? Any specific guidance for documenting subcontractor details would be helpful.

Government Response: The information that needs to be filled out on the quoter information form should be for the company providing the quote.

2. Could you provide guidance on completing page 1, particularly with regard to clauses and provisions? I am set aside 100% for small business, so I would like to ensure that we meet all necessary compliance requirements and accurately represent this designation.

Government Response: The quoter shall complete the bottom of page one of the clauses and provisions and return with the quote package. USDA contracting personnel will pull your reps and certs from www.sam.gov to ensure your small business representation matches the set aside requirement.

3. Is a site visit mandatory for this project?

Government Response: A site visit is not required but it is highly recommended.

4. Is there a current incumbent providing the services? If so, could you confirm the incumbent's name and contract number?

Government Response: Previous contract number is 12805B20P0024. Publicly available information regarding that contract is available through www.fpds.gov.

5. What is the current total contract value for this project?

6. Is the requirement for all of the windows or is it limited to certain glass cleaning?

Government Response: Clean interior windows in the large ARS Meeting room, Lobby and breezeway from Annex 4A into Main Bldg 4. Office windows and breezeway between Main Bldg 4 and Headhouse 5 are not part of contract.

7. Is there an SF 1449 form included with the solicitation documents that we should use for submitting our price quote?

Government Response: No.

8. What Unit of Measure should we use for the pricing structure? Specifically, should we use "MONTHS" or "JOB" as the Unit of Measure?

Government Response: 12 months per year. Base year plus 4 option year pricing must be included.

Government Response: Please see the Performance Work Statement. It indicates Buildings 4/4A, Building 5 and Building 12. Building 5 – 3 restrooms (each includes one stall and one walk-in shower). Building 12 – 2 restrooms (2 stalls each).
