1217EAX23Q0043 – COCONINO AND KAIBAB DEMOLITION PROJECT

Site Visit ques�ons and answers.

Q: Are all exis�ng items in the trailers to be removed and disposed?

A: All items inside the trailers and shed are to be disposed. (furniture, chairs, matress, box springs, kitchen ware, shelves, etc.) The district will remove and salvage any items prior to the contract No�ce to Proceed.

Q: If there are issues in accomplishing the work due to fencing can it be removed?

A: If fencing needs to be removed to allow demoli�on ac�vi�es to occur it will be addressed during the contract.

Q: Are any sheds at the Blue Ridge site to be removed and demolished?

A: No sheds at the MRRD site are included in the contract.

Q: Are the stairs and porches to be removed and demolished?

A: All stairs and porches are included in the contract.

Q: Are concrete pads to be removed and demolished?

A: All concrete pads are to be removed as part of the contract.

Q: Are the electrical panels and meters to be removed?

A: All electrical panels/meters are to remain.

Q: How should the exis�ng water and sewer line to be le� a�er disconnec�on from the trailers?

A: Water and Sewer shall be capped at finished grade level.

Q: Is there a need to import material to level and grade the sites?

A: All sites shall be leveled using exis�ng material on site, no import of material is expected.

Q: Is there a need for addi�onal asbestos tes�ng?

A: No addi�onal asbestos tes�ng is needed as the building have not been altered since 1995.

Q: Is there a poten�al that the contract will get shut down if fire restric�ons are imposed during the contract implementa�on?

A: Contractor will be allowed to work via a wavier if fire restric�ons are imposed during the contract.

Q: Is the concrete pad in front of the shed at Williams to be removed and is the building on a founda�on?

A: The concrete pad in front of the shed at the Kaibab Supervisor Office shall be removed. The building has no founda�on.

Q: Is water available onsite for use for the project?

A: Yes water will be made available onsite for use on the project.

Q: Does the government have secured funding for this project?

A: This is a funded project.

Q: Has the government hired a third-party contractor to test the Bldg's for LBP?

A: Tes�ng results for 70043(New Moon Trailer) and 70044(Columbia Trailer) are provided.

Government does not have any LBP tes�ng results on 70042(Yellow Marlete Trailer).

Q: Will the government provide a list of veted contractors for LBP tes�ng?

A: No, this is the contractor’s responsibility.

Q: Will the contractor have access to electricity at each site for abatement?

A: No electricity is available at the sites.

Q: Will the government assess fees for water usage?

A: No fees will be charged for water.

Q: Will a water backflow preventer be required?

A: No backflow preventer will be required.
