Price Schedule Notes The quantities as listed in the “Schedule of Items” are estimated requirements for this contract period. The Government estimates, but does not guarantee, the volume of purchases under this contract. The USDA, APHIS attempts to be as accurate as possible when providing estimated quantities, however, actual quantities required may vary from the quantities listed.

Other than the minimum contract amount stated in AGAR clause 452.216-73. Pricing/ton shall take into account cost for shipping to all locations listed in Section 7 of the statement of work.

Due to the instability and fluctuation in the market pricing of corn, the contract includes the clause at FAR 52.216-2 Economic Price Adjustment. The line item pricing can be increased or decreased depending on the market conditions. Any change in the unit pricing will be evaluated, negotiated and incorporated into the contract via a modification prior to the start of the production. The only fluctuation allowed in the contract pricing is the cost of corn. Labor, delivery, profit, etc. will not be a factor in changing the contract pricing as these are fixed costs throughout the contract period.

Contractor may only submit a request for price adjustments annually at the anniversary date of the contract award. The Contractor will be required to provide adequate supporting documentation including competitive pricing index, cost breakdowns, and supplier quotes to request any pricing changes. The formula that will be used to make changes to prices (increases and decreases) is below:

Cost of Corn + Other Cost (labor, delivery, profit, etc.) = unit price

* labor, delivery, profit, etc. will remain fixed throughout the contract period and is based on cost as supplied to the government in response to this solicitation.

Example) Base Year Cost of Corn = $100 Other Cost: $120 Base Year Unit Price = $100 + $120= $220

Year 2 - $50 increase in cost for corn Other Cost: $120 (this cost is fixed and is based on contractors quote for ‘other cost’ on price schedule) New Unit Price = $150 + $120 = $270

Year 3 - $20 increase in cost of corn Other cost: $120 New Unit Price = $170 + $120 = $290

The ivermectin product should be titrated using a metered drip system into the corn bin while mixing. The corn should be sampled prior to delivery for laboratory confirmation of ivermectin concentration.

The contractor shall submit samples through FedEx from each ton of treated product to the National Veterinary Services Lab (NVSL), Ames, Iowa, for testing before delivery to the five sites to ensure that Ivermectin levels are within the specified range. All sample shipment expenses are paid for by the CFTEP. This is the established system between the CFTEP and NVSL. (Further instructions will be provided for shipping through FedEx upon award). Two (2) one-pound samples of corn for every 10 tons of corn mixed shall be taken at the beginning and the end of the bagging process to be submitted to NVLS. (d) Any order issued during the effective period of this contract and not completed within that period shall be completed by the Contractor within the time specified in the order. The contract shall govern the Contractor’s and Government’s rights and obligations with respect to that order to the same extent as if the order were completed during the contract’s effective period; provided, that the Contractor shall not be required to make any deliveries under this contract after Jan. 2028.
