Question and Answer for Solicitation # 12505B24Q0073

Q: The requirements on the solicitation states that 2uL is the maximum sample volume required.

Is that all that can be afforded for the analysis? Are they trying to recover their samples after the measurement or not?

A: We require an instrument that can accurately measure volumes at or under 2uL. This is the maximum volume we can afford to lose for the dsDNA measurement, and we would not be recovering the volume after it’s measured. We require the ability to read multiple samples at a time at this volume since single-sample readings would be too time consuming.

*Note: Be certain to review the SOW as it includes all of the technical requirements, capabilities, and features the equipment must have to be considered technically acceptable.
