Question and Answer for Solicitation # 12505B24Q0051
Q: Are LED lighting in lieu of fluorescent lighting acceptable if it meets the minimum 80-100 µmol requirements?
A: Yes, if the lights are able to meet the minimum 80-100 µmol requirements then LED lighting would be acceptable.
Q: Is installation a necessity? Would you accept a quote without installation included?
A: Yes, installation is a necessity. Quotes that do not include installation will not be accepted.
Q: What is being grown in the chamber?
A: As stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) provided with the quote submission documents (page 14 of the attachment) the growth chamber will be used to house in vitro potato clones.
*Note: Be certain to review the SOW as it includes the technical requirements the growth chamber must have to be able to be put into consideration for award.
