Requests for Information Solicitation 12505B21R0024
Question 1: Would you consider two standard size tanks versus the one tank? Reason being custom size tanks per the spec are custom built and are approximately 5-6 month lead time at the present.
Answer 1: We need the tank we specified to fit in the space we have for system.
Question 2: The depth filters can filter down to 10-micron size rather than the 5 being requested. Would that be acceptable?
Answer 2: We need to have 5 micron filtration for our process.
Question 3: What is the normal flow rate of the operation?
Answer 3: (6) 4800 gpm max pumps in parallel. Condenser water for chillers. We may run only 1 or 2 when it is cooler and all 6 when it is hot.
Question 4: Why stainless steel tank? Is it do to the tank location, site conditions, or process requirement?
Answer 4: Stainless steel tanks are more corrosion resistant and last longer in our processes.
