· What information do contractors need to provide for the SAMs registration? Contractors must provide general information about their business as well as banking information as SAM information is used to make electronic funds transfers (EFT) to contractors.
· What is the diameter to spray around planted trees? 8 feet in diameter should be treated around all trees and shrubs planted in year 2 of the project.
· Is there a water source onsite at the Pomainville WRE? No, there are no wells.
· What if a contractor cannot spray in June (e.g. site is too flooded)? Time would be extended if site was inaccessible.
· Is there the same amount of acceptable non-target kill as the first group of sites? Yes, the amount of acceptable non-target kill is still no more than 10%.
· For Rights-of-Way treatment, does VTrans have date restrictions for spraying? None identified at this time. Contractor will need to follow all obtained permits from VTrans.
· Are there any restrictions for using ATVs onsite? Only that ATVs should only be used in situations where the site is dry enough so that damage won’t be cause and ATVs should not damage any woody vegetation.
