The purpose of this amendment is to replace Section L-11

See page 2 of this amendment for Section L-11 - Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit replacement.

All other questions shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer no later than Wednesday, May 28th, 2019 at 1p.m. MST to amelia.velasco@usda.gov . All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the document referenced in Item 9A or 10A, as heretofore changed, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.

1202NV19R0009 Yellowstone Bridge Replacement Project Amendment 1 Ashley National Forest

The following section shall be replace in its entirety as follows:

L-11 – Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit

(a) The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference/site visit, during which potential Offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required and be able to view the site.

(b) Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference. However, Offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated.

(c) The Government assumes no responsibility for any expense incurred by an Offeror prior to contract award.

(d) Offerors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at the conference, all terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by amendment to the solicitation. If the answers to conference questions, or any solicitation amendment, create ambiguities, it is the responsibility of the offeror to seek clarification prior to submitting an offer.

(e) The conference will be held:

Date: May 21, 2019 Time: 11 a.m. MST Location: Yellowstone River Bridge, which is located on Forest Road 119, approximately 30 miles North East of Duchesne, Utah. The project is in Township 2N, Range 4W, Section 27 on the Ashley National Forest.

(f) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
