W50S7W-21-R-0002 (DFAC Attendants) Questions & Answers Q1. What is the dollar amount of the current contract?
A1. $38,008.80 (12 weekends, 24 days of service)
Q2. Do KPs serve/cashier/prep food? If so, how many servers/cashiers/food preppers are needed?
A2. No KPs fulfill any of these duties – we have military personnel assigned to those functions
Q3. How many meals are served each Drill (estimate)?
A3. 400-500
Q4. What are the meal hours?
A4. 10:30am – 12:30pm (2 hours)
Q5. Is an 8-hour shift required or recommended?
A5. The only time sensitive requirements (per the Performance Work Statement) are that contractor employees report for work at 8:00am and stay until the work in the PWS is finished. If the entire team has completed their work in 6 hours, they are welcome to leave. If the shift supervisor wants to release some employees but keep others for a few remaining tasks, that is up to them*. We only require that the work be completed before military personnel are scheduled to leave (i.e. for security reasons, contractor personnel must vacate before military personnel).
*The PWS states that the minimum work crew is 10; while that applies throughout most of the shift, we understand that each employee isn’t going to finish their work at the exact same moment. We expect the team to arrive fully staffed but also understand that some employees may end their shift before others.
