About this file
This document is a justification for other than full and open competition for a contract awarded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. The contract was awarded to Skydio, Inc. on April 22, 2022 for $111,650 to provide 111 Skydio X2D unmanned aerial vehicles to the United States Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine. An expedited delivery timeline of 30 days was required to have the equipment available for immediate use. Other vendors were either unable or unwilling to meet this timeframe or sought pre-payment. The justification cites unusual and compelling urgency under FAR 6.302-2 due to the need for rapid delivery.
