The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime division awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to The Belting Company of Cincinnati, a small business manufacturer, for the supply of various mechanical components such as rigid shaft couplings, nonmetallic bushings, electro-mechanical actuators, and other related items. The IDC has a ceiling value of $250,000 and a period of performance through February 2021.
The agency has issued several delivery orders against this IDC, ranging from a few thousand dollars to over $35,000, for the procurement of specific coupling and shaft components. The delivery orders have been awarded as firm fixed price contracts, with the items to be delivered to DLA's facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio. While some of these awards utilized small business set-asides, others were unrestricted. The contracted products are intended to support the logistics and supply chain requirements of the Department of Defense, particularly the Army, Navy, Air Force, and other military services.
