The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Medical awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Owens & Minor Distribution, Inc., a for-profit medical supply company, to provide a wide range of medical and surgical supplies. The contract has a potential value of up to $4,999,999 over a five-year ordering period ending in August 2027.
The contractor, operating through its "Om Healthcare Solutions Main Street" division, will fulfill firm fixed-price delivery orders against its catalog for wound care products, patient apparel, surgical instruments, intravenous therapy supplies, and other hospital provisions. These supplies will support the Tactical Radio Over-the-Horizon Relay (TRBO) program and Region 3 contingency response missions under the Strategic Programs for Expeditionary, Contingency, and Humanitarian Operations (SPE2CH) initiative. All task orders issued to date have been on an unrestricted basis, with the products shipped from Owens & Minor's distribution center in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
