The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued at up to $4,999,999 to Owens & Minor Distribution Inc., a subsidiary of Owens & Minor Inc., to provide a wide range of medical and surgical supplies over a five-year period ending in August 2027. The single-award IDC supports the Strategic Programs for Expeditionary, Contingency, and Humanitarian Operations (SPE2CH) initiative, with a specific focus on supplying medical commodities for the Tactical Radio Over-the-Horizon Relay (TRBO) program and Region 3 operations.
Through this IDC, Owens & Minor will fulfill firm fixed-price orders for a comprehensive catalog of healthcare products, including wound care items, patient apparel, surgical instruments, intravenous therapy supplies, personal protective equipment, diagnostic equipment, and various other medical consumables. The contract allows various defense and military healthcare facilities to efficiently procure necessary medical supplies through a streamlined ordering process, ensuring the availability of critical healthcare resources to support U.S. military medical operations and readiness.
