The Department of the Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued at $53.5 million to Crane Technologies Group, Inc., a small business manufacturer of specialized cranes and lifting equipment. The contract, referred to as the Large Capacity Weight Handling Equipment Multiple Award Contract (WHEMAC), allows for the procurement of new and overhauled cranes with capacities of 15 tons or greater through June 2028. Under this IDC, NAVSEA has issued several firm-fixed-price delivery orders to Crane Technologies Group, including a $5.9 million order for a 100-ton crane, a $0.8 million order for a 65-ton bridge crane, and a $4.2 million order for the overhaul and rebuild of a 110-ton gantry crane. Crane Technologies Group has also been awarded a $20 million single-award IDC for the Craft Portal Crane Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) II, tasking the company with modernizing up to seven portal cranes at Norfolk and Puget Sound Naval Shipyards through May 2025. These contract vehicles demonstrate Crane Technologies Group's role in supporting the Navy's ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance its shipyard infrastructure and capabilities.

In addition to the WHEMAC and SLEP II IDCs, Crane Technologies Group has received other delivery orders from NAVSEA and other Department of Navy entities for the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of a variety of weight handling equipment, including overhead electric traveling cranes, portal cranes, jib cranes, and gantry cranes. These contracts, which range from small-scale crane alignments to large-scale crane overhaul and modernization projects, are valued at over $20 million in total and cover work to be performed at naval facilities across the United States.
