The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) awarded The Boeing Company a single-award indefinite delivery contract (IDC) with a ceiling value of $24,943,086.19 for the REMANUFACTURE OF KC-135 COMPONENTS. The contract does not have a set-aside designation.
Under this IDC, the AFSC has issued numerous firm fixed-price delivery orders tasking Boeing to remanufacture, repair, and overhaul various KC-135 Stratotanker and B-52 Stratofortress aircraft components, including cowlings, gearboxes, and rudder pedal assemblies. The delivery orders range in value from $18,723.55 to $5,060,216.92, with the majority of the work being performed at Boeing's facilities in St. Louis, Missouri. This IDC supports the Air Force's long-term sustainment of the KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft and B-52 bomber platforms through component maintenance, repair, and overhaul services provided by the prime contractor, Boeing.
