THIS ACQUISITION PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR ENFORCEMENT AND INFORMATION ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE SUPERFUND PROGRAMS OF THE U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY REGION 6 (ARKANSAS, LOUISIANA, NEW MEXICO, OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS). OTHER EPA REGIONS MAY BUY-IN TO THIS CONTRACT ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS. SUPPORT IS PERFORMED UNDER THE ATTACHED PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE FOLLOWING FIVE TASKS: 1) PORTENTIALLY RESPONSIBLE PARTY (PRP) SEARCHES, 2) GENERAL ENFORCEMENT SUPPORT, 3) NEGOTIATION SUPPORT, PRE-LITIGATION SUPPORT AND 5) COST RECOVERY SUPPORT.
