Added: Oct 15, 2014 2:49 pm The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region III, contemplates an award of one (1) each Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract for professional support services for EPA Region I (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and 10 Tribal Nations) in support of its responsibilities to respond to hazardous substances, oil, or weapons of mass destruction. An unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued with the intent of making an award in order to support EPA Region I. The resulting contract will be a fixed priced award which will include Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) line items. The period of performance will be for a base period of five (5) years. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or around October 31, 2014. The government intends on awarding the resulting contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to t he Government, cost or other factors considered. For this solicitation, all evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are approximately equal to cost or price.
