Title of Project: Traceable Opioid Material Kits* Materials and Recipient Laboratory Support *TRACEABLE OPIOID MATERIAL is a mark of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS), intends to issue a solicitation for traceable Opioid Material Kits Materials and Recipient Laboratory Support Services. This effort is specifically for the development, manufacture, distribution, marketing, and support of a Traceable Opioid Material* Kits product line to improve and expand the detection of current and emerging opioids by U.S. laboratories in support of its public health mission. This work expands the national laboratory testing capacity during the HHS-declared public health emergency for the opioid overdose crisis. This procurement will be a 'Full and Open" competitive procurement under the North American Industrial Classification system (NAICS) code of 325998 - All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made under the solicitation. The resultant awards are expected to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type task orders. The period of performance will be 60 months. This notice is not a request for proposals. No response to this notice is requested or required. Request for Proposal Number 75D301-19-R-67983 will be available on or about 17 June 2019 and will be accessed through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps.gov) website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps regularly for release of the solicitation and any amendments. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation, possible amendments, and other procurement-related matters.
