The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs awarded a $148,402.80 Project Grant on October 1, 2024 to New York University (NYU) under the Public Diplomacy Programs (CFDA 19.040) federal grant program. The grant supports the AWE 5.0 program, which provides a tailored scaling journey and networking opportunities for an all-Emirati cohort of women leaders and entrepreneurs in the United Arab Emirates. The program leverages a powerful network of over 150 UAE-based women to help the participants grow their businesses. As a leading research university with a global presence, NYU is well-positioned to deliver this specialized program aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and strengthening ties between the U.S. and UAE.
