The project modernizes the technology from a rule-based, decision-tree chatbot to an AI-informed conversational agent to enhance scalability and personalization. The work targets barriers to overactive bladder care specific to Black women, including social determinants of health and bladder stigma, by delivering evidence-based remote intervention. Performance occurs in Chicago, Illinois with a period of performance through July 31, 2027. This is a Phase I SBIR award, supporting proof-of-concept development and initial validation of the adapted application.
