The National Endowment for the Humanities awarded a $23,964.20 Project Grant to El Paso Community College for the project "BETWIXT AND BETWEEN: LIMINALITY IN EL PASO,TX AND COLONIA JUAREZ, MX" from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019. The grant was funded through NEH's Promotion of the Humanities Division of Preservation and Access program (CFDA 45.149), which supports projects that preserve and provide intellectual access to humanities resources held in libraries, museums, archives and historic sites. Under this award, El Paso Community College will conduct research exploring themes of liminality or in-between spaces along the U.S.-Mexico border region of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to preserve and provide intellectual access to primary resources relevant to this topic.
