THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES WILL SUBGRANT THE LWCF AWARD TO THE APPLETON CITY R-2 SCHOOL DISTRICT TO CONSTRUCT A 6-FOOT WIDE AND 1,475-FOOT CONCRETE LOOP TRAIL AROUND THE FOOTBALL FIELD AND GRAVEL TRACK. THE PROJECT WILL PROVIDE A RECREATIONAL TRAIL AREA TO A RURAL REGION IN WHICH ONE IS NOT PRESENT.
