This $500,000 Project Grant from the National Park Service will fund repairs and rehabilitation work at the historic Cravath Library building on the campus of Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. The grant is being awarded under the Preservation of Historic Structures on the Campuses of Historically Black Colleges and Universities program (HBCU Preservation, CFDA 15.932).

The Cravath Library, built in 1930, is a contributing building to the Fisk University Historic District and this work will help preserve the structure. The National Park Service's HBCU Preservation program aims to document, preserve, and stabilize historic buildings on the campuses of historically black colleges and universities. Work funded under this $500k grant is scheduled for completion by September 2025.
