The Department of the Interior National Park Service National Office awarded the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation a $250,000 Project Grant under the Outdoor Recreation Acquisition, Development and Planning program (CFDA 15.916). The grant will support projects included in Virginia's Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2024. Specifically, funding will be used for the acquisition and development of outdoor recreation areas and facilities as outlined in Virginia's 2023 Virginia Outdoors Plan.
