Dr. Norm Matloff, PhD will 1) provide general guidance in planning the programming the GIMP and R portions of SA1, 2) provide close supervision of the programming for the R portion of SA1, 3) supervise the efforts at integrating R and ImageMagick toolsets at the Davis Location; and 4) work with Dr. Thompson to perform coding and testing as needed in SA2. He will arrange for a student in the UC-Davis program with suitable training to perform the work as described above, He will consult with Dr. Thompson on a weekly basis for the first 2 months, and thereafter on a bi-weekly basis, or optionally more often depending on need and timing. He will arrange for documentation of code produced at UC-Davis and will agree to share such code with Dr. Thompson and the Sanford Research staff.
