APPLICATION PURPOSE: THE CHICKASAW NATION WILL UTILIZE THE FULL AWARD TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE EXISTING TRANSIT SERVICES.; ACTIVITIES PERFORMED: THE APPLICATION SCOPE OF WORK ARE OPERATING AND CAPITAL PROJECTS THAT WILL ESTABLISH SAFE REGIONAL ON-DEMAND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO ASSIST CN COMMUNITIES WITH SAFETY AND SECURITY ACCESS TO VACCINATIONS FOOD WATER SHELTER SOCIAL SERVICES AND OTHER ESSENTIAL NEEDS. IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THESE ON-DEMAND SERVICES THE CN WILL USE EXISTING FEDERALLY-FUNDED TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES AS WELL AS A PORTION OF ARP FUNDS TO PURCHASE AN UPGRADED ON-DEMAND SOFTWARE MODULE COMPLETE WITH ONBOARD DEVICES. THIS NEW SYSTEM WILL WORK ALONGSIDE THE CNS CURRENT SOFTWARE ROUTING SYSTEM. FINALLY THE ON-DEMAND PROJECT WILL ALSO ALLOW THE CN TO HIRE 10 PART-TIME DRIVING EMPLOYEES AND REINFORCE FIVE REGIONAL AREAS OVER THE NEXT THREE YEARS.; EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THESE VITAL SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS WILL INCREASE THE QUALITY AND/OR FREQUENCY OF SERVICES ENHANCING THE CNS ABILITY TO SUPPORT CITIZENS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES WITH MUCH NEEDED ESSENTIAL QUALITY OF LIFE SERVICES WITHIN THE CNS TREATY TERRITORY.; INTENDED BENEFICIARIES: CN CITIZENS OTHER FIRST NATION MEMBERS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY MEMBERS THAT RESIDE IN THE TREATY TERRITORY.; SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES: THE RECIPIENT DOES NOT INTEND TO SUB-AWARD.
