IN ADDITION UPDATED ITS INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLANNING ACTIVITIES ARE EXPECTED TO IMPROVE SERVICE EFFICIENCY AND SYSTEM RELIABILITY.; INTENDED BENEFICIARIES: THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES OF THIS FUNDING ARE PUBLIC TRANSIT RIDERS IN PORTAGE COUNTY OHIO AS WELL AS PASSENGERS THAT UTILIZE PARTAS EXPRESS ROUTES TO AKRON AND CLEVELAND. THIS AWARD WILL BENEFIT RIDERS BY IMPROVING THE SAFETY AND SERVICE RELIABILITY OF THE SYSTEM. IN ADDITION REMOVING OUTDATED DIESEL-FUEL POWERED VEHICLES FROM OHIOS ROADS IMPROVES THE AIR QUALITY FOR ALL RESIDENTS IN THE REGION PARTICULARLY WITHIN THE COUNTIES THAT PARTA SERVES-PORTAGE SUMMIT AND CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO.; SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES: THERE ARE NO SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS AWARD.
