The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $202,416 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program (CFDA 14.267) project grant to Save Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Kansas City, Missouri. The grant will support Save Inc.'s efforts to provide housing and support services to address homelessness in the local community.
The CoC Program funds will enable Save Inc. to deliver a range of eligible activities, including permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, transitional housing, supportive services, and homelessness prevention initiatives. These services are designed to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families, minimize the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness, promote access to mainstream resources, and optimize self-sufficiency among the target population. As a recipient of multiple CoC grants, Save Inc. collaborates with the City of Kansas City, the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and local health departments to implement these homelessness assistance programs.
