TO SECURE FUNDS FOR (12) REPLACEMENT VANS (35) EXPANSION VEHICLES IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN FLEET AND EXPAND SERVICES (92) TABLETS; (2) SOFTWARE PACKAGES; (1) SECURITY/CAMERA SYSTEM AND (1) RESURFACE/PAVING LOT LOCATED AT 332 HOOD AVENUE LEBANON KY 40033.CKCAC HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING MANY ISSUES WITH THEIR CURRENT SOFTWARE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN NON-EXISTENT. CKCAC STILL USES MANY PAPER MANIFESTS FOR THEIR DRIVERS MANUALLY ENTER TRIPS INTO THEIR CURRENT SOFTWARE AND MANUALLY SCHEDULE TRIPS. THEIR CAMERA SYSTEM IS OUTDATED AND CANNOT BE VIEWED UNLESS THE TAPE IS PULLED FROM THE VEHICLE. THIS INVOLVES TRAVELING TO THE COUNTY IN WHICH THE VEHICLE IS LOCATED AND BRINGING THE TAPE BACK TO CENTRAL OFFICE FOR VIEWING. CKCAC NEEDS THIS FUNDING TO SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT SOFTWARE WHERE THEIR TRIPS CAN BE CONVERTED OVER WITHOUT HAVING TO MANUALLY ENTER THEM. THEY ALSO WANT TO ADD NEW CAMERA SYSTEMS TO REPLACE OLD AND OUTDATED CAMERAS. THE NEW CAMERA SYSTEM WILL INCLUDE LIVE VIEW WITH A SOFTWARE FOR DRIVERS TO USE IN PLACE OF PAPER MANIFESTS ALONG WITH VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT. THE DRIVERS WILL HAVE TABLETS PLACED IN EACH VEHICLE TO BE USED FOR MASS TEXTING AND AUTOMATIC SCHEDULING.
