This K08 project grant from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (CFDA 93.307 - Minority Health and Health Disparities Research) will evaluate the implementation of a Community Health Worker (CHW)-delivered, evidence-based, transdiagnostic mental health treatment (CETA) in Spanish for Latine parents. The total award is $177,012 over the project period of September 2024 to April 2029. Key objectives include refining CETA for cultural relevance, assessing implementation determinants, and conducting a randomized feasibility pilot to examine intervention acceptability, feasibility, and treatment engagement. This project aims to address disparities in mental health treatment access and utilization for Spanish-speaking Latine populations by leveraging CHWs as providers. The findings will inform a future large-scale effectiveness-implementation trial of CHW-delivered evidence-based mental health treatments.
