Specifically, the grant will fund the training of 10 new NAMI program presenters, 15 new NAMI support group leaders, and 10 new NAMI peer-to-peer program leaders. It will also support the addition of NAMI support groups and peer-to-peer classes in 1 new correctional facility, 3 new county jails, and 7 other correctional/community settings. Additionally, the grant will fund the training of 50 peer advocates in NAMI advocacy skills and the recruitment of 20 NAMI program leaders for state leadership roles.
