The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has been awarded a $9,989,423.00 Project Grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Disability Innovation Fund (CFDA 84.421) program. This 5-year grant, with an award date of October 1, 2023 and completion date of September 30, 2028, will support the MARYLAND DIVISION OF REHABILITATION SERVICES INNOVATION PATHWAY PROJECT. The goal of this initiative is to implement innovative activities aimed at improving outcomes for individuals with disabilities in Maryland, including through education, vocational rehabilitation, skill training, employment assistance, and independent living support services. MSDE, through its Workforce Technology Center division, will serve as the prime recipient and may issue sub-awards to local partners to directly deliver project activities and services across the state.
