Ball State University was awarded a $97,727 Project Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities under the Promotion of the Humanities Public Programs federal grant program (CFDA 45.164).
The grant will support the development of public programs exploring the history and culture surrounding the Battle of the Wabash through December 2021. As outlined in the program description, the NEH grant will allow for the examination of this pivotal event in American history to be presented to the public through programs, events and interpretive materials at museums, libraries and other community spaces. The funding will enable Ball State University to deliver new historical insights on the Battle of the Wabash to Indiana residents and educate the public on this topic that had national implications through the specified performance period.
