The Georgia Housing & Finance Authority has been awarded a $901,345 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (CFDA 14.267). This Project Grant funding will support the Authority's efforts to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families in the Atlanta metropolitan area, while minimizing trauma and promoting self-sufficiency. Key services to be provided include rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, case management, job training, mental health and substance abuse treatment, rental assistance, and comprehensive social support. The grant will enable the Authority, in collaboration with nonprofit service providers and local government agencies, to deliver a continuum of housing and social services designed to address the complex needs of Georgia's vulnerable populations experiencing homelessness. The award period is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
