This Project Grant award of $170,000 from the Executive Office of the President Office of the National Drug Control Policy will fund services delivered through the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Program from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Florida will utilize the funding to aid federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies in reducing illicit drug supply through information sharing and coordinated enforcement activities. Performance will be measured by dismantling and disrupting drug trafficking and money laundering organizations and improving the effectiveness of initiatives. The County of Hillsborough Bocc Grants Management division will provide administrative oversight of the sub-award. The funding will support the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Program's goals of reducing drug trafficking and production within the United States through multi-jurisdictional and multi-agency collaboration.
