The University of Texas at Dallas received a two-year, $160,955 Project Grant from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Research Laboratory under the Air Force Defense Research Sciences Program (CFDA 12.800).
The grant funds research on electrostatic gating tools for developing new and improved superconductors. The University of Texas System subsidiary UT System OEB is performing the work, which supports the Air Force Defense Research Sciences Program's goals of maintaining technological superiority in scientific areas relevant to Air Force needs and preventing technological surprise. The program seeks to maintain a strong research infrastructure for the Air Force laboratory through grants for fundamental scientific research.
