The Lake County Community Development Corporation dba Mission West Community Development Partners (Mission West) received a $291,667 Project Grant from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) under the Economic Development Support for Planning Organizations program (CFDA 11.302).
The grant will support Mission West's development and implementation of a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Lake, Mineral and Saunders Counties in Montana through March 2024. The CEDS process brings together public and private sector stakeholders to create an economic roadmap that diversifies and strengthens the regional economy. EDA's Planning program aims to stimulate and guide community economic development efforts through regional planning grants. This award will allow Mission West to lead the collaborative CEDS planning process to foster economic growth across the three-county area.
