The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was awarded a $625,000 Project Grant from the Department of Energy's Office of Nuclear Energy through the Nuclear Energy Research, Development and Demonstration program (CFDA 81.121).
The five-year grant will support MIT's Nuclear Energy University Programs - Distinguished Early Career program from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2027. As part of this program, MIT will conduct research and development activities to resolve technical, cost, safety, security, and proliferation resistance issues in nuclear energy.
