This $514,253 Project Grant award from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program (CFDA 14.267) will provide funding to the State of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) to support a range of housing and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Connecticut.
The grant will enable DOH to administer eligible CoC program components, including permanent housing, transitional housing, supportive services, homeless management information systems (HMIS), and homelessness prevention. DOH will work closely with local nonprofit providers, governments, and housing authorities to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families, minimize the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness, promote access to mainstream resources, and optimize self-sufficiency. The grant period runs from March 11, 2025 to December 31, 2025, and the intended beneficiaries are individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Connecticut.
