The Elmhurst Art Museum was awarded a $150,000 Project Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Promotion of the Humanities Challenge Grants program (CFDA 45.130) to fund a roofing renovation project. The grant, awarded on May 1, 2024, will support necessary renovations to the museum's main building roofing systems in order to protect and sustain the integrity of the museum's permanent collection, public exhibitions and programming, and educational center classes and programming. The project aims to strengthen the institution's infrastructure and organizational capacity for humanities-related work.
