The National Endowment for the Humanities awarded a $250,000 Project Grant to the Beaverton Arts Foundation, Inc. under the Promotion of the Humanities Challenge Grants program (CFDA 45.130) to activate the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts as a space for fostering the humanities. Funding will support implementation of required audio/visual and related technological equipment to activate the new facility, which will include a 550-seat multipurpose theater, classrooms, meeting and conference rooms, workshop space, and informal gathering areas. As a Challenge Grant, the NEH award requires a match of cash contributions from nonfederal third parties. The grant period runs from May 1, 2021 through May 31, 2024 to implement this project at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts located in Beaverton, Oregon.
