The Aleut Community of Saint Paul Island (ACSPI) received a two-year, $149,996 Project Grant award from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs Central Office under the Tribal Climate Resilience program (CFDA 15.156). The grant funding will support ACSPI's DATA ANALYSIS AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: CLIMATE ADAPTION PLANNING FOR THE ACSPI project. Specifically, ACSPI will use the funding to conduct data analysis and develop climate adaptation planning products to help the tribal government of Saint Paul Island better understand potential climate change impacts and vulnerabilities and enable more resilient decision making. The Tribal Climate Resilience program aims to provide tribes with funds and technical assistance to assess climate risks and develop adaptation strategies, consistent with the goals of ACSPI's funded project.
