FUNDING IS PROVIDED TO THE GRANTEE FOR SITE DISCOVERY AND PRE-REMEDIAL SITE SCREENING OF SITES WHERE A RELEASE OF HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES MAY HAVE OCCURRED, TO DETERMINE SITE ELIGIBILITY FOR THE NATIONAL PRIORITIES LIST OR OTHER CLEANUP PROGRAM. THIS COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT PROVIDES FULL FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000. SEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.ACTIVITIES:ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING SITE ASSESSMENT RELATED ACTIONS: 1. ASSESSMENT - COORDINATING THE STATE'S SETTING OF ASSESSMENT AND CLEANUP PRIORITIES TO IDENTIFY AND PRIORITIZE SITES.SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES, EXPECTED DELIVERABLES AND INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE: DELIVERABLES ARE SITE SCREEN REPORTS. BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN CALIFORNIA AND PROPERTY OWNERS. OUTCOMES INCLUDE THE IDENTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS AND PREVENTION OF FUTURE EXPOSURE.
