The International Organization for Migration (IOM) was awarded a $2.1 million Project Grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program (CFDA 98.001). The two-year award running from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025 will support IOM's delivery of community resilience and capacity building services for climate change and natural hazards in the United States. As an intergovernmental organization, IOM leverages its expertise in migration, development, and humanitarian issues to strengthen systems and provide direct assistance internationally through federal grants such as this award from USAID.
