The US Agency for International Development awarded Deutsche Welthungerhilfe E.V. a $2.96 million project grant under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program (CFDA 98.001) to deliver an 18-month Emergency Relief 4 (ER4) programming initiative in Zimbabwe. The initiative aims to improve livelihoods, food security, social cohesion, psychosocial support, and access to basic water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services for beneficiaries, including internally displaced persons. Funding will support the delivery of these programming areas from October 1, 2022 through March 31, 2024. The USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program more broadly focuses on advancing global health, economic growth, agriculture and trade, as well as democracy and conflict prevention initiatives overseas.
