The Community Voices for Better Protection (CVBP) Project Grant was awarded on May 15, 2022 by the U.S. Agency for International Development Bureau for Management Office of the Assistant Administrator to Internews Network. With $600,000 in funding and a completion date of November 14, 2023, this award supports products and services delivered under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas (CFDA #98.001) federal grant program in Sudan.
The Foreign Assistance Program aims to promote long-term economic growth and further U.S. foreign policy goals through initiatives that bolster agriculture/trade, global health, and democracy/conflict prevention/humanitarian assistance. The CVBP award furthers these objectives by providing Internews Network's services in Sudan through the award's November 2023 completion date.
