The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) received a $3 million Project Grant award from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program (CFDA 98.001). The grant period runs from September 7, 2021 to December 6, 2021.
Under this award, UNDP will provide multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to populations in need in the Central African Republic. The USAID Foreign Assistance Program aims to support long-term and equitable economic growth and advance U.S. foreign policy objectives through supporting economic growth, agriculture, trade, global health, and democracy and conflict prevention initiatives. This award will allow UNDP to deliver humanitarian aid services that are aligned with the program's goal of assisting vulnerable populations overseas.
