The US Agency for International Development awarded a $6.6 million Project Grant to support economic recovery, market systems, protection, shelter, and information management in Afghanistan from June 2021 through January 2023. The grant funding supports the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program (CFDA 98.001), which aims to promote long-term economic growth and advance US foreign policy goals through supporting economic development, agriculture, health, and democracy initiatives. Under this particular award, a Miscellaneous Foreign Awardee will deliver assistance to strengthen Afghanistan's economic recovery, protection services, shelter programs, and information management systems over the 21-month period of performance.
