The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded a $2,287,530 Project Grant to World Vision Inc. under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas (CFDA 98.001) federal grant program. The grant aims to support nutrition, agriculture, and financial recovery for food insecure communities in Zimbabwe from July 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022. World Vision will deliver services focused on recovery of agriculture by integrating savings in nutrition and gender-protective environments in Mberengwa and Mudzi districts. The Musasa Project and Padare Enkundleni Men's Forum On Gender were awarded subgrants to support delivery of services in these areas as well. The overarching USAID program supports long-term economic growth and foreign policy objectives through initiatives focused on economic development, global health, and democracy worldwide.
